Directions to Casa Andorinha -  S. B. de Messines, Algarve, Portugal

 

1. Leaving the airport follow the signs for Faro and then head for Portimao to join the N125
(Be very careful after taking this turn as the road bends very sharply rght and there isn't much slip road before you join the N125-Loule road)


 

2. Keep on the N125 leaving at the exit signed A22 Lisboa Portimao, Albufeira.

 


3. Follow the A22 motorway.
DO NOT turn onto the motorway to Messines



4. Go straight on until you see the sign for the IC1 for Lisboa / Ourique and take that turn-off.

 


5. Keep on the IC1 eventually leaving at the sign for Silves, Salir and then follow the signs for Silves. At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit.

Go under the motorway bridge to the second roundabout and take the 1st exit straight ahead to Silves. Continue on the road to Silves. Go straight across the next roundabout (2nd exit) bypassing the town of Messines on your right.

 

6. After approximately 7km take the turning on your left signposted Nora, then when the road bends slightly to the left, take the first turning right onto a dirt track. (There is a villa on the corner here called Quinta das Amendoeiras)

Follow this track and Casa Andorinha is the second house on the right.
